Residential Community for Workers, Kuwait
Creating a shining example in Gulf Country Council nations in the MENA region, this project intends to create accommodations for male bachelor laborers in Kuwait. It is located in the Al Jahra District of Kuwait, with an area of 447,654 m2. The goal is to provide a comfortable, clean, green, save environment for living in a self-contained city similar to a university campus. Residential accommodations are supported by mess halls with culture sensitive, shopping areas, services, athletic facilities for recreation, green areas for relaxation, mosques for prayer and meditation, health clinics, police department, banks, post offices, restaurants, laundry facilities and more. The building design style is contemporary, reflecting vernacular Kuwaiti architecture. The materials chosen and spaces created promote healthy living conditions.
